Designing the Playbook for Founders
Challenge: Design and produce a book for Khosla Ventures in six weeks. Sixty principles from Vinod Khosla, built for founders to actually use, not set on a shelf and forget about.
Approach: We landed on the field guide concept early and made every decision through that lens. That meant generous white space for annotation, a typographic system designed for clarity and contrast, imagery chosen to create breathing room between ideas rather than illustrate them, and a foldout poster included with every book. We managed the full production process in Seattle from initial paper selection and proofing through press checks and final assembly.
