David Sperry is a brand and marketing executive who has spent his career helping companies turn product innovation into market leadership. He works at the intersection of brand strategy, creative direction, and go-to-market execution, guided by the belief that the most important work isn't making things look good — it's making people believe in something they hadn't seen before.
Through Nebulous, his brand and creative studio, David partners with founders and executive teams at the moments that matter most — helping them find the clarity, narrative, and brand foundation that earns trust with investors, customers, and the market. Companies he has worked with have raised nearly $60M in funding on the strength of the brand strategies and stories he helped build.
Before Nebulous, David was Executive Director of Brand and Creative at Glowforge, leading integrated brand strategy through growth to $100M+ in revenue and directing the Webby Award-winning Create Your World campaign. Earlier he served as VP of Brand and Marketing at Motiv, launching a new wearable category against Apple and Fitbit and earning CES Best in Show. Before that he co-founded Adonit, scaling the brand to $25M+ in revenue across 150 countries through 16+ product launches and landmark partnerships with Adobe and Evernote.
His work has been recognized with Webby, Telly, and American Advertising Awards, CES Best in Show, Red Dot Design Awards, and Apple Editor's Choice.
